So far I’ve only experimented with it. Will do a ‘proper’ shoot soon. I like the versatility and variety of effects it can produce. I also like the fact that once mounted using the ¼” screw that it can be controlled remotely using the phone app. As a stills photographer the effects menu is of limited use to me but this might tempt me to shoot a little m ore video in the future. My intention is to use this light in conjunction with the 10W Projection torch to light subject and background differently with and without gobos and contrasting colours. This light is a little underpowered but there was no secret about this before purchase. It really needs to be used in a very dim or blacked out space with fast lenses and/or high ISO. Battery life seems good, certainly sufficient for my purposes and tif requited can of course be plugged into a power source while being used to extend the time. My test shots are very satisfactory so I’m more than happy with this light.

I love everything about it! Right now I’m using it to add life to my YouTube videos AND my flat lay wedding photos. Wow, looks so good.

Absolutely amazing little spotlight! The light output is super crisp, and the included GOBOs add incredible versatility. I used it for a portrait shoot and the results were beyond my expectations—sharp lines, beautiful shapes, and very professional-looking lighting.

The light has great build quality. It is bright enough for indoor use, or nigh-time. The colors look good, and the gobos are very useful. It has 3 mounting points, which is great. The zoom function works as advertised. Downsides are that the colors are fixed and the dimming range is not very wide. But for this price that is all forgiven, as the light offers a spotlight, fill light and gobos for a fraction of the price of bigger lights. I would recommend this light as a portable and budget friendly option for adding a pop of color, or an interesting shape of light to your photos and videos.

As a professional studio equipment (flashlight) user, I was surprised to get such a nice toy for my smartphone photography. I imagine using it for commercial still-life shoots with full-frame cameras and constant lighting. It is a brilliant tool for people who need to photograph for their social media content on a daily basis. This spotlight can enable such people to make much more interesting photos.
